About Finlay Wilson
Finlay Wilson grew up in the Scottish countryside, spending a lot of time in nature and learning about the natural world. For the last ten years, he has been exploring Yoga and healing following operations on both of his legs that led to complications when walking. Finlay holds an M.A (hons) in Geography and Classics from St Andrews University, Scotland where he specialised in Scottish Environmental Issues which led him to work for sustainable and recycling companies before making the decision not to teach Geography but to teach Yoga.
Following many different styles of Yoga and working with diverse worldwide teachers, it wasn't until he met Ana Forrest that Finlay found a fit that he could be passionate about in his learning and his teaching. The sound theoretical information and intelligent way that poses were sequenced together captured his mind and became his primary teaching style.
Finlay is the co-founder of Heart Space Yoga & Bodyworks in Dundee, a charity that works with many different community groups, children, and families. The studio was opened in 2012 and has gone from strength to strength leading to the opening of Heart Space Whole Foods, two organic grocery stores in Dundee and St. Andrews.
