If you're looking for the next masterpiece for your living room or an early Christmas present, look no further than The Retina International Photography Festival auction. Award-winning photographers will go under the hammer at George Street's Eden Locke later this August.
The Retina International Photography Festival, which has been taking place annually in Edinburgh for four years, has announced a one-off opportunity to buy work fresh from the gallery walls.
Works include Edinburgh's Jimmy Reid, currently doing his HND at Edinburgh college, Timothy Pearse, an award winning fine art and portrait photographer, Suzanne Forrest, a BA photography student whose work has been published in the Artospective Blogspot, and Laura Feliu Lloberas, a photographer from Barcelona based in Edinburgh graduating this year from Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen.
The works, all exhibited as part of Retina International Photography Festival over the last three years, have been shown across the city from Gayfield Creative Spaces, Custom House, Summerhall and the first RETINA exhibition outside Edinburgh in Braemar.
The Auction event will be held on August 25th at Eden Locke will help secure funds for the July 2017 events, which displays work across the city in a series of free exhibitions.
