Hi Michele, Thanks for your feedback. I'm very glad to see that you loved our amazing team, and that you enjoyed our central location near Edinburgh's main sights. I'm also very please that you appreciated our studio apartments, it it's very convenient to have all the amenities and appliances one requires for a longer stay. On the other hand, I'm sorry the light switch was not so convenient for you, it is the case in some of our apartments that the switch for the bed side lamps is in one side of the bed only, I agree with you, not the best if you prefer to be on the wrong side! In an attempt to be more sustainable, we are trying to minimise the use of disposables, which is why we don't provide paper towels in the kitchen, but we are more than happy to replace, or bring you extra kitchen towels, just reach out to one of our house hosts :). Regarding the window, we can also give you a hand opening them, or closing them, as many times as you need. I hope we get to welcome you back, Michele, and we'll make sure to take care of the little issues you found uncomfortable as long as in our hands. All the best, Laura and the Eden Locke team.

I'm pleased to see that you enjoyed our central location and found your studio quiet. It's also great that you liked the feel of the place, we do try to take sustainable measures as much as possible, that's it's why we don't have disposable water bottles, specially because Edinburgh's tap water is of great quality and taste, the carafe in the fridge is there for our guests to fill it up themselves in the tap so they can be sure that it's fresh water and everything has been thoroughly washed. I'm glad that our house hosts was able to quickly change you to a different studio of your liking and provide you a free upgrade, we are always available to help with any issues or concerns :) Chargers are not something we offer to our guests at the moment unfortunately, but thank you for your suggestion, we'll keep in in mind. I'm very glad that you enjoyed our central and beautiful location in the New Town, surrounded by great restaurants and bars. It's also amazing that you found the studio quiet, bright, with a spacious bathroom, and good facilities. Unfortunately, we don't have onsite parking for guests, but we can offer a discount in the NCP castle terrace, which is about a 10min walk from the hotel. We suggest this place as it 's the best value for money, I'm happy that you appreciated the good discount! Hopefully we get to welcome you back next time you are in town.
