Word Space is a poetry community - and you are very welcome. Come along, share your wares, express yourself, and meet lovely creative, open folk. There is a fight for attention going on out there and Word Space is our little oasis of listening - actually hearing each other and giving attention generously. Each event has 10-12 open mic slots, a communal writing activity, and plenty of space for the thoughtful appreciation of words. No writing experience necessary - beginners thoroughly encouraged. Poetry, spoken word, lyrics, storytelling - any words that you love are exactly what we're after.
