My Global Studio: Logging on from Locke with Cece Di Paolo.

Meet Cece Di Paolo, a creative photographer and longtime friend of Locke. Alongside, a regular in the Locke at Broken Wharf co-working space.

With co-working spaces across London and beyond, Locke is the perfect place to make your office for the day. Grab a coffee from one of our on-site cafes, find your spot in the co-working space and get to work. A lot of our regulars like to bring their friends along, meet clients or have their furry friend keep them company for the day. Our spaces are for you to use and make your own.

One of our regulars, usually found tucked away within the plants at Locke at Broken Wharf is visual artist, photographer and friend of Locke, Cece Di Paolo. Cece has worked with Locke on many of our campaigns. When Cece doesn't have a photoshoot day, she likes to work from home or from a Locke.

Originally from Rome, Cece has made London her home since 2013. For Cece, London is a ‘place of opportunity’. She has been working as a freelance creative and photographer for the last 3 years. Working with Locke came as a happy accident. ‘You can say we found each other, and you can truly say I feel at home when sitting or working with any of the Lockes’.

8am: I wake up hungry and usually start the day by sitting on the sofa with the cat and a cup of coffee with avocado on toast. Peanut (the cat) is much nicer in the morning, so I have to make the most of that before she becomes the sassy cat she is.

I have two usual days: a photoshoot day, where I would just shoot from day to evening, and a retouching/admin day, which I usually spend working on one of the Lockes.

9am: I’ll get ready and jump on the tube to Locke at Broken Wharf. I usually stop by Rosslyn to grab a coffee on the way. If it’s a sunny day, I’ll sit for a few minutes on their benches to people watch and get some vitamin D. As soon as it gets slightly warm, I go for an iced latte. Every day, it’s my work fuel.

9:30am: Once I’ve found my spot in Locke at Broken Wharf’s co-working area, I'll get started on my to-do list. I love a nerdy weekly plan. I visualise my whole week in front of my eyes to divide the week up.

I love working with Locke at Broken Wharf, not just because of the location on the river, the super comfy work area, the inspiring furniture, but especially the calm and quiet vibes. I personally cannot work in a busy and hectic location.

1pm: I love an easy and convenient life because I most often get lunch, snacks and coffee from Shaman.

On a particularly intense day, I would take a little break and walk to the Tate across Millennium Bridge and just people watch.

2pm: After lunch I’ll settle back down in the co-working space. My photoshoot days are quite intense, so when I am working on my laptop, I mostly love solitude and some good music. Client meetings all happen online, but I always try and ask freelance colleagues if they fancy joining me for the day. You can find us lying on the large yellow sofas with our laptops on our legs.

5pm: I’ll finish up around 5pm and either make my way home, or head to a restaurant in nearby Shoreditch or Bermondsey. At the moment, I love Flour & Grape and Jolene.

With spacious, leafy co-working, Riverside views and a calming atmosphere, check out Locke at Broken Wharf, the perfect spot to get your head down for the day.
