London is a city for everyone, with each area offering a unique perspective on its people and cultures. Join us as we dive back into our London series to further explore our vibrant home city.

We’re London bound this summer at Locke. Home to six Locke properties, we’re diving back into what makes London unique. Photographers, creators, and friends of Locke, Mikko Puttonen and Lukas Ruska Martin, spent some time at Ember Locke, exploring West London and Kensington, home to Ember Locke. Enjoying its perfect blend of elegance and cultural richness. With world-class museums, restaurants, boutiques and tranquil green spaces.

Ember Locke is a cabinet of curiosity, located in leafy Kensington, you’ll have some of London’s most iconic attractions on your doorstep. Get cultured at the Victoria and Albert Museum, or stroll around Kensington Gardens, head up to Knightsbridge or the Kings Road for a shopping spree. Then Notting Hill to try some of the city’s most talked about eateries.

Try some of West London's finest coffee shops and bakeries. Enjoy a perfect cup of coffee at Eve Cafe, or Over Under Coffee. For delicious baked goods, head to Layla Bakery, or try Brown & Rosie for a trendy vibe and mouth-watering pastries.  

Stretch your legs: 

Stroll through Kensington Gardens or discover tranquility in Holland Park’s Kyoto Gardens. Venture further afield to Richmond Park for deer spotting and enjoy a spritz in the gardens of one of the many pubs and cafés around the park. For a high-intensity workout, try Equinox or Barry’s, both guaranteed to get your blood pumping. 

Grab a bite to eat: 

Enjoy Mediterranean-inspired dishes at Granger & Co in Notting Hill, known for its stylish ambiance and fresh, vibrant flavours. Explore nearby markets like Portobello Market and Chelsea Farmers' Market, where you can discover fresh produce and artisanal goods from across the globe.  

Get cultured: 

With some of London and the world’s best museums on your doorstep, make sure to check out the Victoria & Albert Museum, the world’s largest collection of arts and design. Or if you’ve got the family in tow make sure to check out The Natural History Museum. Watch a show at the Royal Albert Hall or the latest blockbusters as Electric Cinema.

Make a night of it with some of London’s loveliest restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. Begin with drinks and music at Caia, a trendy spot to unwind.
