In most cases, yes. However, at Locke de Santa Joana, there are some rooms only accessible by stairs.
Santa Joana Suite:
This suite has an entrance from the courtyard on floor -4. Access requires walking up two flights of stairs to reach the suite on floor -2.
Mezzanine Duplex Suites:
These suites are reachable by lift from floor -4 to level 0. However, to access them, you must use stairs when crossing the suspension bridge above the museum gallery.
Convent Suite, City Studio, and Locke Rooms:
Rooms in these categories on level -3 in the D block require stair access for entry. This involves approximately 19 steps.

Regarding the storage issues, Block D, where your room was located, was a former convent and national heritage, which forced us to maintain the structure and was a challenge for that rooms design, however, we will ascertain your constructive review and study possible improvements.

As for the less positive, first of all let me start by apologizing for the lack of information you came across regarding the opening of Kissaten. Despite the fact that this was only a soft opening and it's a period of optimizing and improving everything, that is definitely not up to standard, and we will pass the information to our food and beverage director, to make sure this situation doesn't repeat itself in future outlet openings. As for the prices, as this is a whisky bar, we do have some more expensive (premium) options available. I hope this makes sense, and it doesn't stop you from returning, as we are opening more outlets within the next few weeks that have different concepts and are definitely worth a try!

We deeply regret the mentioned situations since they do not reflect, at all, the values and the guest service we want to deliver to our esteemed guests on a daily basis. Concerning the pool, we have to say that we have been overwhelmed by the demand in this area. When the space was originally designed it was certainly not our vision for people to fully embrace the outside space and stay in the hotel all day. We have been caught out by this, and additional investment has been implemented to help navigate the demand for this area. Concerning the apartment cleaning, we do have a weekly cleaning as part of our policy, since we are an aparthotel and your apartment is indeed your private space where we only get in if needed and requested. We believe this was explained during your check-in and we do apologize if it was not left clear upon your arrival as it should, or even prior to it (we do have this info on our T&C). We should also inform all our guests that refreshment is available at any time (free of charges), as well as a mid-week or even daily cleaning (under a cost of €40,00) as long as it is requested at our reception, at least, 24 hours in advance. Regarding the pool area, we can assure you that this was already plagged internally and more sunbeds are already on the way. Once again, thank you for your constructive and honest comments and we truly hopr that what you mentioned does not prevent you from coming back, as we would be very pleased to welcoming you again. We are indeed an aparthotel (not a hotel) and we have apartments (not rooms) with fully eqquiped kitchens (we do not have neither room-service or minibar since our guests are able to cook and there is a fridge too). Below the sink you can also find a bin with two containers: one for general waste and another one for mixed recycling). Regarding the pool, when the space was originally designed it was certainly not our vision for people to fully embrace the outside space and stay in the hotel all day. We thought it would be very much an area to enjoy for short periods of time as exploring the city of Lisboa would be top of the list. We have been caught out by this, and additional investment has been implemented to help navigate the demand for this area (more sunbeds already on the way :-)).
