We asked Bermonds Locke’s very own General Manager, Hugo, for his favourite routes for a pre or post work jog. Since starting in his role, Hugo has taken up running as a new hobby and has just completed the Lisbon Half Marathon.

How did your running journey begin?

I got into running to explore my surroundings more and take the time for the little things and get out of my routine. Recently I ran a half marathon in LisbonI'm quite new but it made me enjoy London even more, and it is great to explore on your feetpretty flat and bursting with secret spots away from the main touristic attractions.

We spent the day on one of his favourite running routes - taking in local London landmarks such as Tower Bridge, Bermondsey Street and the Tower of London, just a stone's throw away from Bermonds Locke.

Make Bermonds Locke your base with some of Hugo's favourite routes:

A quick 2K

An easy and quick run in the area. Running past the iconic Tower Bridge then along the Thames before running back-to-back to Bermonds Locke. A great run to start the day when time is of the essence.

A secret 10K:

An amazing 10K run which will take you around South-East London.
