How to get there from Dublin City centre: Connolly Train Station > Howth station

As Ireland’s first bird sanctuary established in 1931 and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1981, the island is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Walking through the sand dunes to reach the beach adds to the adventure. It's also an ideal spot to watch the sunset.

How to get there from Dublin city centre: Take the DART (from multiple stations) to Bray.

Bray, is a seaside town south of Dublin with a number of popular walks and trails. The Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk, provides sea views along its 7km route. Another favourite is the Bray Head Walk, where you’ll find panoramic vistas of the coastline and countryside and its peakIf walking isn't your thing enjoy the cafes and shops and the towns promenade.
