Zurich’s Christmas markets are here. Experience the city coming to life over the festive season with a delightful mix of crafts, traditional culinary delights, and seasonal magic. With light shows and winter wonderlands creating a warm and cosy feeling throughout Zurich.

The festive season is the perfect time to come together with friends and family, that’s why this year we’re celebrating gathering round at Locke. Whether that’s with a glass of champagne or a cosy night in.

Illuminarium.

9th November – 30th December, Museumstrasse 2, 8001 Zürich.

One of the city’s premium festive markets. Enjoy an enchanting winter wonderland characterised by special curated lights, illuminations, illusions, music and traditional festive culinary delights. Set within the unique architecture of Zurich’s national museum, The Landesmuseum.

Zurcher Weihnachtsallee.

23rd November – 23rd December, Europaallee, 8004 Zürich.

Find the Europaallee transformed into a winter wonderland, full of Christmas markets selling sweet treats and artisan gifts and crafts by Swiss makers. Enjoy the Glüehwii-dome for cosy drinks and the fondue chalet for the true Swiss experience.

Zurich Main Train Station.

23rd November – 24th December, Bahnhofpl., 8001 Zürich.

Zurich’s central Christmas market takes place at the main train station with around 140 stalls. It's one of the largest indoor markets in Europe. It's worth a visit just to see the Christkindlimarkt is the 10-meter Christmas tree.

Zauberpark.

23rd November – 10th December, Walter-Mittelholzer-Weg, 8302 Kloten.

With a varied music programme and panoramic illuminated winter pathway alongside culinary delights, Zuberpark takes place at Zurich Airport. Everyday you’ll find musicians playing a variety of genres alongside lots of mulled wine and festive treats.

Zurich Old Town Market.

23rd November – 23rd December, Niederdorfstrasse, 8001 Zürich.

Zurich’s oldest festive market is a world of its own. Located in the Niederdorf Quarter of the old town, you’ll find small wooden stalls selling traditional gifts and treats. Whilst taking in the twinkling lights on the old buildings.
